Bass Me Records is proud to announce its second release, this time from Hidden Element. 2011 was a productive year for Hidden Element with two releases on Soul Deep and Celsius record labels and they proceed to kick-start year 2012 with recent Liquid Break «Song Of Siren» remix and then taking a step aside from d’n’b aesthetics and experimenting with 130-140 BPM tempo. The result – two deep and atmospheric tracks – is ready to be presented to you by Bass Me as «Midas EP».
You would probably want both «Bona Dea» and «Midas Touch» play for over 3 minutes without fear of boring modern dancefloor population to death – the tracks are mutating constantly, new elements shifting in and out of play, to satisfy even the most exigent listener.
“It was a great and interesting experience for us working in such a different tempo, basically because we have no clichés and stereotypes here. So we could just deliver it the way we felt, with no concern about if it fits inside definitions and borders. We sort of wanted for each track to be a story, a changing story with development and that essentially makes you to hear it all. That, we think, is the nature of creativity itself.”

Bass Me с гордостью представляет свой второй релиз, автором которого стал проект Hidden Element. В прошлом году ребята отметились релизами на Soul Deep и Celsius, а совсем недавно вышел их великолепный ремикс на «Song Of Siren» живой группы Liquid Break. На этот раз они решили отойти от привычного им drum & bass и поэкспериментировали в темпе 130-140 получив в итоге две очень глубоких, атмосферных композиции вошедших в их «Midas EP».
И Bona Dea, и Midas Touch из тех треков, которые будут играть в вашем сете более чем 3 минуты, ведь они постоянно мутируют, в них постоянно появляются новые элементы и ходы, а так же их приятно послушать дома.
«Нам было очень интересно писать музыку в другом для себя темпе, в этом диапазоне у нас нет никаких клише и мы делали всё так как чувствуем, не задумываясь, вписывается ли это в какие-то рамки. Главное для нас, что бы каждый трек был историей, которая развивается, приобретает новые формы, которую ты хочешь дочитать до конца. Это очень круто, это и есть творчество»
